I first came to Brighton Electric back in 2014 whilst rehearsing in numerous bands and studying at university. Electric soon became my favourite studio to rehearse at.

Fast forward a few years and I was offered a spot on the team by the legend that is Nigel O’Brien and soon became stuck in with different aspects of the business. I have been rehearsals manager for close to a year now and I am definitely in my element; being able to work closely with other musicians and managing a great team of people who I also class as friends is pretty great.

Being in a band for me has always been as much about the people you work with as the music. Writing music with like-minded people is great but I also find I learn loads from people who are into different styles and bring a completely different outlook to songwriting.

I think one of the best things about Electric is the diversity of the people and music that they make. You could walk through the halls and every room could be producing a different sound all at once. Being on the front desk you meet everyone and they all approach creativity in a different way. It’s pretty inspiring.

So that’s just a little thought from me. I’ll be filling this domain with some tasty deals, offers and updates from the rehearsal sector.

Get in touch if you have any thoughts or enquiries; always want to hear from the people that fill this place out!
