Free will is something anyone can have an opinion on and no one will have any facts to back up that opinion, just their experiences or someone else that they know of. It is very complicated to answer the question “does free will exist.” The question simply is just words floating in the air that cannot be grasped. I, for one, do not know the answer because there are so many factors that go into an answer that I would like to say. I would like to say that it does in fact exist, but it is not that easy.

Sadly, even in the United States of America, land of the “free”, we are still restricted on things that, by nature, we should be allowed to be or do but cannot due to a small amount of people telling us so. I think that free will exists in a sense that, yes, we can do anything we want to, but there will also be complications and consequences if everyone in the world just didanything they chose to. It all really depends on social status, class, finances, and health especially. Also, I think if you were to believe that there is free will for sure, you have to be incredibly privileged and have security in your life or enough to feel like you could do anything. Imagine waking up every day, no worries in the world about anything, and you could just get up and do whatever you wanted whenever you wanted. It is definitely not available to more than half the population.

I truly think for free will to exist, there should not have to be multiple things in the way to prevent it. Free will means privilege and privilege only exists to only a certain amount of people. So, does it exist? Maybe yes but maybe no.
