Henry Lloyd-Hughes and Chantelle Alle, appearing in BBC One’s “Marriage”, discuss their characters in the coming miniseries
Henry Lloyd-Hughes and Chantelle Alle, respectively playing Jamie and Jessica, appear in Marriage alongside miniseries costars Sean Bean and Nicola Walker.
Bean and Walker, playing a married couple, respectively appear in the series as Ian and Emma. The four-episode miniseries follows the couple, Ian and Emma, as they negotiate the difficulties of their 30-year marriage.
The miniseries, spanning four 60-minute episodes, will also be available via BBC iPlayer. Stefan Golaszewski, a BAFTA award winner, wrote, created, directed, and served as executive producer on the new BBC One miniseries. Lloyd-Hughes and Alle, in no small detail, took the time to discuss Marriage and their respective characterisations.
What can you tell us about your character?
Jamie is, on one level, a high-achieving alpha go-getter, but on every other level he’s a hollow man. He’s a sad clown who fills his life full of distractions, sugar…
