‘McDonald & Dodds’: S3.E1. “Belvedere”
ITV’s “McDonald & Dodds” returned June 19 with an all new three episode series
McDonald & Dodds, revolving around the titular DCI Lauren McDonald and DS Dodds, returned to ITV on Sunday, 19 June 2022 with the first of three 90 minute episodes. The Robert Murphy created crime drama, respectively starring Tala Gouveia and Jason Watkins as McDonald and Dodds, first graced our screens on Sunday, 1 March 2020.
Each three episode series, since the series one episode The Fall of the House of Crockett premiered, has met and exceeded the standards established with the previous year’s offerings.
The crime drama, further to Gouveia and Watkins, sees Danyal Ismail and Lily Sacofsky respectively reprising their second series characters DC Martin Malik and Milena Paciorkowski.
The first two three episode series featured James Murray as Chief Superintendent John Houseman. The third series sees Claire Skinner step into Chief Superintendent Mary Ormond’s shoes. DC Samuel Goldie, another new third series character, is played by Charlie Chambers.
