‘McDonald & Dodds’: S3.E4. “Clouds Across the Moon”
Into The Woods’ Joanna Riding guest stars in “McDonald & Dodds” third series finale
McDonald & Dodds closes the third series with an episode that brings everyone’s favourite detective sergeant more into focus. Curious and curiouser, on All Soul’s Day, a successful Bath businessman is discovered dead in a shallow grave. The shallow grave, found in the shadow of the Glastonbury Tor, was seemingly hurried.
The third series finale, directed by Laura Scrivano from a story penned by Robert Murphy, has no shortage of suspects for DCI Lauren McDonald and DS Dodds to investigate. The suspect pool includes a local artist, a mysterious IT consultant, and a psychic. There is however one more suspect series fans might find incredibly unbelievable… Detective Sergeant Dodds.
Hector Ingham, the detective duo’s first suspect, is a local artist of some renowned. McDonald, ever suspicious of everyone, remains watchful of Martin Silver. Silver, the man that discovered the businessman’s body, is an ordinary everyday IT consultant by day and a medium by night. He claims to be able to speak to the dead.
