Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher in “Reacher”

Reacher came to Amazon Prime on Friday, 4 Feb. 2022. Reacher, the lead protagonist of a series of novels, novellas, and short stories, was created by Jim Grant. Grant, a British author, uses the pen name Lee Child. The eight-episode series, based on the Child written Jack Reacher Novel Series, delivers a powerful punch. The first series is based on the 1997 published Killing Floor. Killing Floor, the debut Reacher novel, is written in the first person. The novel has three prequels, respectively published in 2004, 2011, and 2016, are The Enemy, The Affair, and Night School. Each novel, set eight years, six months, and one year before events depicted in the Killing Floor, provides great insight into the Reacher character.

Alan Ritchson, best known for playing Hank Hall / Hawk in the television series Titans, portrays the series titular character. The series, further to Ritchson, also stars Malcolm Goodwin, Willa Fitzgerald, Chris Webster, Bruce McGill, and Maria Sten. Marc Bendavid, Willie C. Carpenter, Harvey Guillén, Kristin Kreuk, Currie Graham, and Lara Jean Chorostecki make guest appearances throughout…
