The American “Staged” reboot is in real jeopardy
Simon Evans hears desperate news from Georgia Tennant, via Lucy Eaton, and tries to get David Tennant and Michael Sheen to work together. It ultimately falls to the new cast members, Jim Parsons and Josh Gad, to offer David and Michael a new perspective on their friendship. Is it too late?
Anna Lundberg and George are respectively irritated with how Michael and David have been behaving over the past few weeks. Ever since they discovered an American reboot of Staged was in the works, noting their reaction, both David and Michael have been seriously p*ssed off.
Jim and Josh have been respectively cast as American versions of Michael Sheen and David Tennant in the reboot. Michael and David, other than helping the American cast members understand their characters, have no on screen presence in the reboot.
Georgia, tired of being the go-between, finally tells Simon how she feels and she doesn’t hold her punches. Simon takes a moment to speak with both David and Michael about their respective issues.
Josh, seemingly obsessed with the lines, gets annoyed with Michael because he isn’t in his kitchen…
