Flinstone Rock in Sand Hollow State Park

This weekend I took a short trip to St. George Utah in hopes of taking some fun desert themed photos to go up in my room. And just to get away from the stress of the FIRST week of school. (College is hard guys)

We first went to Snow Canyon State Park, which is one of my favorite places to take pictures. I was really trying to perfect using the manual mode on my new canon camera. I’m not quite sure if I perfected it, but I did get some good practice.

I also found this app that allows you to place light distortions into your photos. I really like it, I think it adds some cool flare to the photos (I might be over using it a little because I love it so much) but you can check it out it’s called Lens Distortions on the app store.

The other place we went to was Sand Hollow State Park. My dad is an active Razor Rider and convinced us to take a ride with him at the sand dunes. It was insanely fun, but let’s just say my dad is a wild driver and my adrenaline was at an all time high!

These were super fun photos to take, even though they’re not too artsy, or really highlight my photography skills.

I can’t wait to return to St. George to take more pictures!
