Truth be told, an astral projection or an out-of-body experience is something that almost anyone can achieve. But it is not a guarantee that everyone will be able to astral projection. Depending on your dedication to the exercises and other things.

There are some exercises you can do to achieve astral projections. Below are some of the ways you can do to achieve astral projection.

Affirmations: for astral projection

As I wrote earlier in my other article on how to program your mind, affirmations are very powerful tools to program your subconscious mind.

With affirmation, you make a simple statement that will impress upon your subconscious mind and condition yourself to be awake and aware while your physical body is relaxed.

An Out of body experience is something that we do every night just that we don’t remember, because of all the ‘junk’ we have in our minds. So just before you go to sleep you want to affirm this statement …

“MY BODY IS ASLEEP AND MY MIND IS AWAKE AND AWARE”.

repeat the statement until you fall asleep every night until you achieve it.

Visualization Techniques for astral projection

Visualization and imagination concepts are important to understand in your personal growth and why they work. Visualization is the grandmaster in programming your mind. There are countless visualization exercises and techniques on the web but here I will just share a few.

  • Climbing the rope; this is where you imagine yourself climbing a hanging rope step by step adding as many details as you can until you drift into sleep.
  • Rolling over: This is when you imagine yourself roll slowly from right to left like a floating log on water add as many details as you won’t keep the image in your mind until you drift into sleep.
  • Outside your room: Another one is when you go to sleep you can just imagine yourself in the living room, feeling the temperature, feeling the texture of your sofa….just remember and add all the details of your living room. Until you drift into sleep.
  • Prayers: People don’t understand the power of prayers much.. all I know is if you are sincere and have a strong desire it always works, so you may pray for your guardian angels or God depends on what is your belief asks them to assist you in achieving Oobe.
  • Aided Methods: If you have tried all the visualizations and affirmation and find it hard to get the results, or you get distracted easily while you are visualizing it’s best to use guided meditations so that your mind can stop wondering and focus on the exercise; it is good to set up a schedule for this either so I recommend to get those programs are designed like a course that you can do one piece at a time. There are many youtube videos and audio recordings with Hemi-synch to help your mind to relax.

Step by Step Guide for Astral Projection

In order to succeed in astral projection, it is recommended to follow these steps, Most of the astral projection forums don’t discuss these steps, but starting practicing astral projection techniques without any kind of preparation can be frustrating because your mind is wandering and it is not well disciplined. These steps can give you enough tips on how to astral project easily.

1. Breathing

Breathing is one of the major factors in any of the mental exercises and self-discipline, breathing is the bridge between the conscious and subconscious mind because you can breathe consciously or subconsciously. So before starting astral projection take several deep breaths or you can focus on your breath for five minutes then continue to the next step. If you are familiar with meditation this should be easier for you.

2. Affirmation

Sometimes our own personal beliefs get in the way when we try to do something new, or when we step out of our comfort zone, in order to deal with this, it is important to find your own affirmations that will deal with your own fear, doubts or any other challenges that you are currently facing.

3. Relaxation

Relaxation is also an important part when it comes to mental exercises when you are relaxed your mind drifts into an alpha state, where it is highly receptive in this state astral projection techniques will be more effective than when you are not relaxed. You can download some mp3 or cd with binaural beats or self-hypnosis audios that will assist you in your relaxation.

4. Protection

Always remember when you step into the astral realm/etheric realm there are different types of etheric entities and energies that will influence your thoughts or your emotions, it is wise to protect yourself from these energies, it is not so much that they are harmful but you might disturb the natural order of things, Even though you are attached to your physical body with the silver cord but it is always wise to make a protective energy shield.

5. Techniques

After going through those steps you will feel safer, relaxed and your mind is more focused and ready to have more clear visualizations, you will be able to reach a vibrational state easily, then you can use any astral projection technique that you have. And be able to experience an out-of-body experience safely and have more adventures. There are many astral projection techniques such as the kundalini technique, vibrational technique, rope technique, rolling over technique, chakra technique, etc.
