Sonra

She duyuyor a lost moon
Traveling forests circle babies in her womb
Rains sonra, the birds perform
Her womb sings, a mother’s song

The lake:
She lowers her face into moonlit water
She duyuyor a forgotten child
Lullabies float. Hydrillas sway in loss
Music sonra, the wind halts
Warmth builds in her belly
White water rain falls. The song rewinds

There they go, mother and child
Shadows. Fallen imprints of a faraway night
We duyuyor their song vaporize
sonra, two blue suns adorn the sky
sonra, the forest dries, earth beckons new leaves
ripples: both calm and rekindle sorrows
sonra, loss settles on the lake of life
