Jalapeno Cheeseburger Pizza
For several years we have loved a slider recipe we have that incorporates jalapenos and a cream cheese sauce. We modified that idea and made a delicious pizza! It’s a favorite!
Ingredients:
Cheese Sauce:
2 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup cream
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 teaspoon cumin
2 T cilantro leaves, finely chopped
1/2 lb ground beef
kosher salt and pepper
1 large jalapeño pepper, diced small
1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions:
In a medium pot, combine cream cheese, cream, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, cumin, and cilantro. Heat over medium heat until the cream cheese is melted and smooth. Keep over low heat, but be careful not to burn.
Mix kosher salt and pepper to the ground beef and make tiny meatballs. Cook in a small skillet for 5 minutes, until just cooked.
Spread cheese sauce over the crust dough. Add meatballs and jalapeno. Top with cheeses. Bake for 10 minutes at 500 degrees, or 3 minutes in a pizza oven.
