One big reason Jeff Boals was given the reigns of Stony Brook men’s basketball was his prodigious recruitment portfolio. One season into his tenure, we’ve already seen him and his staff make inroads with talent from the Midwest, where Boals cut his teeth at Ohio State and a few MAAC programs before that.
Never one to take a break, Boals was at it again yesterday.
That’s a Division I men’s basketball coach making an offer to Russell Westbrook’s day-old son Noah. No word yet on when he’s planning to schedule an official visit, but watch this space.
