Key agenda items:
- Discussion of the proposed development at the former Rufus Deering site on Commercial Street. The developer has proposed a 128-room hotel and conference center and 71 parking spaces in Phase 1; 8,626 square feet of retail space, 114 residential condominium units and 144 parking spaces in Phase 2, and 11,477 sf of retail space, 92 residential condominiums, and 162 parking spaces in Phase 3. Access to new parking garages on the site will be from York and Maple Streets. No vote will be taken on this item tonight.
- Continued discussion of the Maine Medical Center expansion and its Institutional Overlay Zone, which you can see a draft of here. No vote will be taken on this item tonight.
