> Tuesday, February 14 @ 5:30pm — Health & Human Services Committee
City Hall Room 209 (second floor to the right)
Major agenda items:
- Discussion of proposed zoning changes which would permit homeless shelters in more areas. (Currently they are only allowed in Downtown.)
- Discussion of the current state of the Opioid Crisis.
- Update on the India Street Clinic.

> Wednesday, February 15 @ 5:30pm — Sustainability & Transportation Committee [POSTPONED]
City Hall, City Council Chambers
Major agenda items:
- Public hearing on the proposed renaming of Franklin Street to “Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard”.
- Review of the 2008 Climate Action Plan (12 pages), and discussion of Portland’s progress to-date.

> Thursday, February 16 @ 5:30pm — Finance Committee Meeting (postponed from last week due to weather)

Major agenda items:
- Presentation on the proposed $61 bond to repair four elementary schools, which was passed unanimously by the School Board last week. (No vote will occur this meeting. Public comment will NOT be taken.)
- Discussion of the City Manager’s proposed Fiscal Year 2018 (July 2018-June 2019) Capital Improvement budget. (This budget is for capital projects only — not operating costs for existing services or departments. The City Manager’s proposal is for $18 million — approximately $5 million more than last year.)
