Portland City Council Weekly Roundup for July 3–7, 2017

Paper streets, parking for islanders and some great weather.

> Thursday, July 6 @ 6pm — Sustainability & Transportation Committee

City Hall, Council Chambers (2nd floor to the left)

Key agenda items:

  • “Sustainability Updates” — not sure what this means. Public comment probably will NOT be taken on whatever this is.
  • Discussion of “paper streets” — streets that may exist on paper (and may even exist in the real world) but have not been approved as official public ways. Public comment will probably NOT be taken.
  • Discussion of current parking options on the mainland for island residents. Here is a list of what parking options currently exist. Likely this conversation will be able expanding parking options for islanders. Public comment will probably NOT be taken, but it’s possible.
