Polkadot’s ecosystem witnessed some big news in December. In addition, Astar Network and Brushfam concluded a partnership agreement. It will strengthen the two companies as well as the entire ecosystem. Here’s why.

There are a number of factors that affect the development of ecosystems. They include quantity and quality which translate into financial and marketing gains, safety, and sustainability.

To date, there are almost 550 projects on Polkadot and Kusama, and they are all at different stages of development. Due to market sentiment, the rate of new ones has adjusted significantly in 2022. Furthermore, leading Web3 players highlight that “the bear market is a great test of ecosystem strength.” Even in a situation where investment support is diminishing, those who continue to BUIDL will succeed and grow. When the market is in a green zone, they will own it.

As a result, key ecosystem companies continue to invest in talents and tech. There are rigorous audits, however, and only the fittest conclude valuable partnerships. We at Brushfam are glad to meet the high criteria and deepen relations with Astar Network. We believe our vectors are aligned, and this partnership will help us follow a strategic roadmap.

The Brushfam team is known for its contribution to the Polkadot ecosystem. Over 2021–2022, we have been maintaining several important protocols, libraries, and tools that a lot of developers rely on. For example, PSP22, PSP34, Openbrush, Sol2ink!, and Typechain. Our visionary attitude helps us think boldly and embrace technological challenges.

Apart from that, we at Brushfam oversee major ecosystem events devoted to WASM, Rust and Ink!. This year, we contributed to Polkadot exposure at the WASM developer conference as well as at the Web Summit 2022. What unites our strategies so that they also underline adoption via WASM as the main goal.

Being one of the Polkadot leaders, Astar Network has always held an open source view on development of a decentralized system. In other words, it cannot be centralized by one player, be it Parity or anyone else. In the following years, we all will shape Polkadot.

Through EVM and WASM smart contracts (XVM), they offer developers true interoperability with cross-consensus messaging (XCM) and cross-virtual machines. By using Astar’s innovative Build2Earn model, programmers can earn money for creating code and dApps.

Astar founded Build2Earn with the idea of helping builders and growing the developer community. Therefore, it is easier to expand the ecosystem while receiving $ASTR rewards via the dApp staking mechanism.

By partnering with such ambitious companies as Astar, we will be able to create a synergy effect, increase the number of successful projects launched in 2023 and continue to cultivate trust in the ecosystem. This partnership will lower the entry barrier to the development community through infrastructure projects like Openbrush, Swanky, Sol2ink, and Typechain. It will also enable regular education through speeches, workshops, and tutorials.

Aside from accelerating product development, the knowledge will enhance developer experience via Typechain and other methods and improve deployment on Astar. Using Sol2ink! Advisory, we onboard businesses to the Polkadot ecosystem, assisting them in moving to ink! From Solidity.

This is where Brushfam enters the game as we plan on carrying out regular audits for the Astar ecosystem companies in 2023 and, thus, grow and strengthen its technical reliability.

“We can’t wait to show excellent performance with Astar’s clients. Our tech speaks for itself,” — says our Founder and CEO Markian Ivanichok.
