BSX Private Testnet Announcement
We are excited to announce that the BSX project is preparing for its highly anticipated private testnet launch!
BSX began its mission to bring institutional grade perp trading experience to the Base blockchain in early 2023, taking on the challenge of building the non-custodial crypto-derivatives exchange with clean UX, deep liquidity, capital efficiency, low fees and high performance. BSX offers perpetual futures trading today but we will add more assets and financial products as soon as we iron out all the kinks. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
Testnet Details
Selected participants will access the BSX private testnet and complete a series of functionality tests while sharing their insight on UI/UX usability over the course of 14 days.
The private testnet will begin testing on Sunday, Oct 22nd 2023, and finish by Sunday, Nov 5th, 2023. The BSX team will be making improvements, answering questions, and compiling bug reports in preparation for our public testnet in the following months.
Private testnet participants will be testing the below functionalities:
- Depositing and withdrawing on BSX
- Testing market and limit orders in our Spot Market
- Testing market and limit orders in our 10x levered Perp Markets
- Managing your open positions
- Managing your account health
Simultaneously, testers will be giving feedback on the BSX Dapp design.
BSX Testnet Conditions of Participation
To be considered for selection, please carefully read, and follow the conditions of participation outlined below:
- Follow our Twitter account: Make sure you are following our official Twitter account @bsx_labs. This will ensure that you receive important updates and announcements regarding the testnet.
- Retweet our Testnet Pinned Tweet: Retweet the designated testnet announcement tweet from our official Twitter account. This will help us reach a wider audience and spread the word about the BSX testnet launch.

- Fill out the Application Form: To be considered as a participant in the BSX private testnet, please fill out the application form with your relevant details.
By fulfilling these conditions and submitting the application form, you will be considered for selection as a participant in the BSX private testnet. We reserve 2000 slots for the first rollout, with 1000 earliest signups via our website and 1000 new members from Discord. Please note that meeting the conditions and submitting the application form does not guarantee participation, as the number of available spots is limited.

FAQ
Q: What wallet address do I need to use?
A: We will be whitelisting the wallet address you provide in the form above. If you try to use another address you won’t be able to access testnet.
Q: What functionality can I expect on BSX testnet?
A: Our testnet will be live with a spot market for ETH and a 10x levered perp market for ETH. You will be able to place limit and market orders in both markets and also get a feel of how the exchange calculates account health, how to manage your positions and how to manage your risk so you don’t get liquidated.
Q: Are there any benefits to trying out testnet earlier than others?
A: No, there are no benefits. The testnet is un-incentivized.
