BSX Public Testnet Results and Mainnet Launch

We are thrilled to share with you the results of our public testnet, which ran from December 27, 2023 to February 15, 2024. We want to thank all of you who participated in testing our platform and providing us with valuable feedback. You are the reason we are building BSX, the most advanced and user-friendly decentralized exchange on the market.

Public Testnet Highlights

During the public testnet, we achieved the following milestones:

• Trading volume: We recorded a total trading volume of $5.1 billion across all pairs, surpassing our expectations and demonstrating the high demand for our platform.
• Number of traders: We had 4,432 unique traders who joined our testnet and experienced our platform first-hand. We are grateful for your support and enthusiasm.
• Feedback: We received a lot of constructive feedback from our community, which helped us identify the areas where we can improve our platform and make it even better.

Main lessons learned and step taken

• Confidence in our system: We saw a lot of trading activity over the last few weeks and it’s given us confidence in what we’ve built. Our platform performed smoothly and securely, handling high volumes and complex transactions with ease.
• Ready to mainnet: Based on the feedback and the test results, we are ready to launch our mainnet in 2-3 weeks as we make our last tweaks and onboard our liquidity partners. We are excited to bring you the full version of BSX very soon.
• Trading screen design: We have improved our screen design so you can customize your dashboard and access the features you need with just a few clicks. You can now choose between light and dark modes, adjust the chart settings, and switch between different layouts.
• Fix bugs quickly: You guys were quick in finding bugs and reporting them and our dev team was quick in fixing these. We’ll need this help on mainnet too, so please keep sending us your bug reports and we’ll reward you for your contributions.
• Feature prioritization: You spoke, and we heard. We’ve built our roadmap for what’s coming immediately after mainnet based on your requests and suggestions.

Next Steps

As we prepare for our mainnet launch, here are the next steps we are taking:

• Deploying mainnet for closed alpha: We will be deploying our mainnet for a closed alpha mainnet phase, where we will invite a select group of testers to try out our platform before it goes live. This will help us ensure that everything is working as intended and iron out any remaining issues.
• Rolling out open beta mainnet: After the closed alpha, we will open up our mainnet for a beta phase, where anyone can join and trade on our platform.
