Community Update — Looking Ahead
We haven’t been in touch for three weeks, and while we know you’ve been busy with mini meme season, our engineers have been working non-stop to constantly upgrade our codebase for Public Testnet on Base Goerli. That means we have a lot of exciting things coming up in the next month!
An Update
Our vision for BSX is to create a self-custodial trading protocol that can combine DeFi’s clear security advantages with the performance and convenience that can rival any CEX. Our mission is simple: make decentralized trading a superior choice and accessible for all.
We believe this means empowering users with control over their assets without compromising speed or ease of use. The future of DeFi is to make sure that all users can benefit from it and the best way to do that is to engage users and build with them in mind.
Timeline
- Dec 27 — Public Testnet — Coming on the back of a major upgrade from the Private Testnet launch, the Public Testnet phase will help us make sure BSX is ready for launch. We will gather as much feedback from our community as possible. (done!)
- Early January — Ambassador Program — A dedicated program to find and nurture our core community members and advocates.
- Mid January — Trading Competition — A fun and exciting way to compete to earn an honorable NFTs to win exclusive NFTs and Discord roles.
- Late January / Early February — Mainnet Launch — Game day! Using your feedback & suggestions during Testnet, we’ll fine-tune what makes the best user-focused product possible before our launch. We’re thrilled to launch on Base!
- February, March onwards: a dedicated Trade to Earn program, a referral campaign, merch giveaways, and IRL events!
TLDR
It’s been a long journey (for all of us) and an even longer (but exciting!) one awaits. Given the pace with which our vision has evolved, and our product roadmap adapted, we can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on! We appreciate the patience the community has shown, and we hope to have many more of you join us on the journey.
We have a lot to offer before our launch and look forward to chatting with you more on our socials as things progress!
