BTC 6: Night of Champions is just weeks away, and the card continues to grow!

BTC is ready to announce two new bouts to the fight card — with three of those four fighters being BTC veterans.

The event adds another former BTC champion in Jason Saggo, while the bout between Vlademir Kazbekov and Jacob Bohn sees two fighters square off who each have past BTC fights on their resumes.

Here is a closer look at these two fights.

Jason Saggo vs. Deivison Ribeiro

Catchweight- Men’s 150 lbs.

Jason Saggo at a UFC FN weigh in.

The former 5-time UFC veteran Jason Saggo (13–4) will be returning to the BTC promotion, after winning the BTC Lightweight championship at BTC 4: Vendetta.

He has vacated that title, and is now pursuing the BTC Featherweight crown.

Standing in his way is the Brazilian Dragon.

Deivison “Dragon” Ribeiro (27–10) has only lost one fight in the past six years, and is looking to keep his dominant streak going at BTC 6.

A calculating fighter with painful finishing speed, Ribeiro won his last fight in November of last year, after the doctor stopped the contest for his opponent’s safety.

Since Saggo is moving down, and it’s Ribeiro’s first fight beyond his usual 145, these men have agreed to a catchweight of 150 pounds.

Will Ribeiro’s punishing streak continue?

Or will Saggo be able to administer one of his trademark submission holds, which have accounted for 8 of his 13 victories?

Tune in June 1st to find out.

Vladimir Kazbekov / Jacob Bohn

Men’s lightweight — 155 lbs.

This lightweight bout features two fighters who have previously fought with the BTC fight promotion.

Vladimir Kazbekov (5–3) is practically a BTC regular at this point, having fought previously at BTC 1, 2 and 5.

He is undefeated with the promotion, and is looking to cement himself as one of the top BTC lightweights with another victory.

Jacob “Jaguar” Bohn

His opponent, American Jacob “Jaguar” Bohn (7–7), is returning to BTC after last fighting at BTC 2.

Bohn is a seasoned veteran with a do or die attitude towards his fights — in his entire career, only 4 fights have gone the distance.

The Jaguar is looking to snap a two fight losing streak and get back to his winning ways after a controversial decision loss in March of this year.

With the BTC lightweight belt recently vacated, both fighters will be looking to impress at BTC 6, and propel themselves into the title conversation with a win.

With 3 planned title bouts, and 11 fights overall, BTC 6: Night of Champions is shaping up to be a can’t miss event for Canadian MMA fans.
