Getting Started with BTC Funding
The service BTC-Funding.com supports you throughout the life cycle of a funding campaign. This blog post guides you through the first steps and gets you started in a matter of minutes.
1. Register a new and free account
Before you can get started you have to register. Registration is completely free and pretty quick.
You can choose between registration via e-mail, your Facebook account or your Bitalo Bitcoin wallet. Don’t worry, you can later link your Bitalo wallet or your Facebook account to your newly registered user, no matter what registration type you choose now.
2. Create a new funding campaign
In the first step you can choose between Close Group Funding or Public Funding. If you plan to get funds from a selected private group you should choose Close Group Funding. If your funding effort is publicly visible and you want to collect funds from everybody you select Public Funding.
The difference between both types is, that the Closed Group Funding is only accessible by people that have the link and the whole social media sharing capabilities are deactivated, other than that they are the same.
The second step allows you to specify a campaign name, with related description and banner, additional to a campaign start and end date.
The section Optional Features allows you to choose from additional services provide by us or by external partners. These services help you to manage, promote and analyse your campaign.
3. Promote your campaign and get funds
Share your newly created campaign with the world! For example on social media, on merchandising and everywhere you can think of.
Engage with your supporters and release constant updates about the progress of your project, startup or for whatever you collect funds.
