AlfaCashier — Blurring The Boundaries Between Electronic Payment Systems

In our first installment of 2015 we take a look at Alfacashier — an established exchange that has been operating since early 2012. Nearing close to three years in the industry, Alfacashier have solidified their position as a trusted Bitcoin and Litecoin exchange. Sticking close to their motto, Alfacashier blurs the boundaries between electronic payment systems by integrating a whole array of deposit options for their customers, including OKPay, PerfectMoney and BTC-e coupons, EgoPay, LiqPay and of course SEPA. It’s evident that Alfacashier put providing customers with a broad range of trading options at the center of their focus. In addition to a wide array of possible payment methods, Alfacashier also offers their users the flexibility of trading in US Dollars, Euros and Russian Roubles. Unlike many other exchanges though, Alfacashier also enables trade in LiteCoin, one of the few cryptocurrencies that has been able to establish itself alongside bitcoin.
Given Alfacashier’s industry experience and interesting offering we were excited to catch up with Denis Hertz of Alfacashier to talk more about their service:
Introduce yourself as an exchange. What service do you provide?
ALFAcashier is a cryptocurrency exchange service. Here, you can exchange one type of cryptocurrency for another, as well as for fiat money in various payment systems and banks. We provide our customers the benefit of being able to trade in a wide range of currencies (both fiat and crypto), as well as make advantage of many different payment methods that are popular across our markets.
What markets do you operate in? What is the general bitcoin adoption like in your markets?
ALFAcashier is not limited by operating in markets of certain countries, we provide our services all over the world; we have partners in various countries and we continue to find new partners. We trade Bitcoin and Litecoin between USD, EUR and RUB and provide facilities for the most prominent payment methods in those markets. As I mentioned previously, we try and cater to a wide user base, irrespective of their currency or payment options.
What opportunities / problems do you foresee ?
The key Bitcoin problem is volatility. Once the Bitcoin market grows and attracts large players, this market will establish, stabilize and the problem will resolve itself.
What would you say is your advantage over other exchanges ?
ALFAcashier is not a regular cryptocurrency exchange; we offer our clients a simple way to buy and sell cryptocurrency, pretty much like shopping online. Exchanges usually require clients to have specialized skills.
How do you address the issue of customer security ?
We have no problems with customer security because we do not deposit client funds. When it comes to trust, customers need to look no further than the fact that we’ve been in the industry for nearly three years and have not had any customer complaints and have been well received in the community.
What is the plan for your exchange for the future?
We plan to enter new markets and expand our presence in our existing markets. I foresee providing our customers with more options in terms of payment possibilities
What is your outlook on the future of Bitcoin itself?
Bitcoin is an excellent international currency and Internet payment method. Old financial organizations will have to get used to it and adapt themselves to Bitcoin, meaning either they will get substituted by electronic payment systems altogether or will have to adjust their methods in line with the economic / technologic / political climate.
