Aji Arya, Young Architect, Young Person
Keep thinking like a student, so keep learning
This story begin from 5 years old at home, Arya’s parents have computer reparation services.
At first time just play games in game house like zuma and others, so finally entered high school and chose computer major, during school he learning many more like html, visual basic, networking, linux especially web server, mail server, & others.
Arya also took part in the Mikrotik National Competition in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, but didn’t win today, besides that he also participated in the National LKS Competition in Yogyakarta again, this was the beginning of Arya getting to know new friends & great people namely Utian Ayuba, he became one of the judges.
In this competition, arya only ranked 14th, but this is not too important, the most important thing is experience and vacation in Yogyakarta (just kidding) :)
# Personality
Arya is a very humble person. It is proven that he is close to new friends during competition, namely Bagas, Rio, Andri, Prasta, Ananda Dwi & others, who will become work friends later.
Then Utian Ayuba, one of the people related to technological transformation in Indonesia, especially in open source, he offers a job at Btech but he need to join bootcamp first before working, the bootcamp name previously is nolsatu but now it’s adinusa.id. This open for everyone & free to learning about Infrastructure, Devops, Cloud and others, you can join if interest.
# Arya Thinking
While attending bootcamp, Arya paralleled while attending college student as well, but this is where he thoughts arose regarding work, because :
- Campus culture, like parades and demos
- and slow learning in campus, because depends on curicculum study.
he decided to leave college and go to work, because according to him he could learn independently learning from internet & anywhere.
# Culture Shock
Migrating outside the city far away to work is a difficult thing to start, from Kalimatan to Jakarta, Indonesia, especially as Arya is the first child outside the city, he told me that he sleeps in the mesh using only a mat instead of a mattress, a leaky house, traffic jams, using the train a long distance every morning etc.
# Meet with Hero
Btech is a system integrator and almost all of them are young people, everyone really likes to try new things & keep learning, this is where Arya feels the stupidest, and this is what makes him continue to learn until now, Saputro Aryulianto is one of the people who motivates him, he see Saputro has many certifications & handled many Projects, this is where Arya is motivated & work together with Saputro’s Team, and at btech certification is free for engineers.
# Progress
Certified Openstack Administrator (COA) is the first certification, then interested in Red Hat certification, until now Arya it has been RHCA, the point is not the number of certifications but always progress to Continuous Learning. Arya today was also the manager of Service Delivery Team to manages & continue handles project, which was previously held by Saputro, he had been involved in many project, bellow all Arya’s certification :
