For our 6th edition, we’ve brought you three amazing speakers that will be sharing their journeys with you as follows:

Ebony Street Market, The Journey

Valerie Kerri

Valerie is the author of the bestselling book ‘The JJC handbook’ and the Founder of Ebony Street Market; which is the first multi-vendor marketplace website that caters solely for black-owned independent retailers selling premium products. With over 100 retail brands signed up since its launch in 2016, it is becoming the go-to destination for black owned products. She was also the Vice president of the Igbo Cultural and Support Network for two years and continues to volunteer with the group. She will be sharing her journey with us and dropping pearls of wisdom on how she achieved success as an entrepreneur.

Ozo Omosigho

A serial entepreneur and also a member of the BTNG team, Ozo stands talls (Literally!) with a rich background in Business and Technology, and over 10 years experience working across various domains including: eCommerce, Governance, Education, Hospitality, Oil & Gas, Advertising, Cyber Security, Telecommunications and Finance. He has a mix of skillsets including general management, project management, product development, software development, mobile app development, public speaking, tutoring, amongst others. In the past he has co-founded two startups, Zoop an Education Technology startup based in Tanzania and Kenya, and Zero&One Technologies a Technology based company in Nigeria. He also manages and own an Oil & Gas business in Nigeria serving the downstream oil sector. Because of his deep passion for technology and believe in using it as a tool to address problems, he would be giving a talk on ‘Why you should be building for Nigeria

Head First Approach To Nigeria

Sani Yusuf

Sani is the founder of Haibrid, a London-based consultancy that offers IT training & consultancy. Sani is also a published author and a speaker with works spanning across 4 continents. A computer science degree graduate from Brunel University, Sani loves to spend time developing solutions in the Education & Healthcare industries. In his free time, he enjoys food tourism & paddle boarding on the ocean. This talk will walk through a personal experience of how I was able to spend 8 months on the road to properly investigate the Nigerian IT market with the view of learning in order to launch a Nigerian product and give back to the community while at it.
