We are delighted to be sponsoring Hyperledger Global Forum (HGF) once again and furthermore that several of our partners and customers as well as our CEO will be speaking at HGF this year. Here then is a sneak peek of some of the sessions featuring us.

Protecting Brand Trust with Nanotechnology and Blockchain Smart Contracts | Room 102A | Tuesday 3 March | 2:00pm to 2:40pm
Dan O’Prey, CMO at Digital Asset & Pete Harris, Quantum Materials Corp

Our customer Quantum Materials Corp (QMC) has created a production-ready blockchain platform that tackles counterfeit goods in high value supply chains by tracking nanoscale optical signatures which are embedded into the material at manufacture. QMC’s solution makes extensive use of both Hyperledger Sawtooth and DAML on Sawtooth, which we deliver as a managed service using our management platform, Sextant.

Truly the stuff of magic and proof that there is substance and serious business value behind the buzzwords.

You should attend if you’re interested in blockchain’s application to supply chains, smart contracts (specifically DAML), quantum dot science (seriously cool), Hyperledger Sawtooth and BTP’s offerings, Sextant for Sawtooth and Sextant for DAML.

Introducing Sextant | Room 106A | Tuesday 3 March | 3:00pm to 3:15pm
Duncan Johnston-Watt, CEO of BTP

This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about BTP’s flagship product, Sextant, our powerful blockchain management platform which underpins several critical blockchain solutions including the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange’s new Securities Lending Platform and Quantum Material Corp’s blockchain-based Anti Counterfeit Platform.

This is also a must see presentation if you want to learn more about the leading smart contract for business, DAML, which was created and open sourced by Digital Asset.

Sextant for DAML deploys and manages DAML on Hyperledger Sawtooth as well as Amazon QLDB and Amazon Aurora.

Watch this space as we will be announcing support for another Hyperledger DLT at HFG on Tuesday.

Delivering the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange Securities Lending Platform on Hyperledger Sawtooth

Room 102A | Wednesday 4 March | 2:50pm to 3:30pm
Duncan Johnston-Watt, CEO of BTP

This month we were delighted to announce our partnership with the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange to ready their new Securities Lending Platform for production. This project is built on Hyperledger Sawtooth. It began life as a Proof of Concept, developed in conjunction with Accenture and Intel, and with our help should go live with market participants by mid 2020.

We are excited to share this real-world case study with HGF attendees and the role played by our blockchain management platform, Sextant.

Finally it would be remiss of me not to mention Don Tapscott’s keynote Blockchain Revolution: State of the Union at 9:10am on Wednesday 4 March.

Don is one of the world’s leading authorities on blockchain. He co-founded the Blockchain Research Institute and is co-author of Blockchain Revolution. I had the pleasure of interviewing him on behalf of the Hyperledger community and you can read my interview here.

We hope to see you there or if that’s not possible we will be sure to post the videos of these sessions once these have been published on the Hyperledger YouTube channel late March.
