‘Lack of understanding’, why users are being hesitant to buy digital assets

A recent survey polled over 4,622 users worldwide by Dove Wallet, asked the reason they are hesitant to hold digital assets, and 46% of all respondents answered “lack of understanding of digital assets” as the primary reason.
Also, 18% of respondents expressed that the verification process required to purchase digital assets was the main factor that made them hesitant to keep the crypto. Users also pointed out uncertainties in regulatory & tax policies, high volatility, and security concerns such as hacking as significant obstacles to their retention of digital assets.

Overall, the survey results indicate that providing sufficient information to help users understand the digital assets is crucial for the revitalization of investment activities. Besides, it is evident that simplifying the current complex and inconvenient verification process and the imposed constraints to hold the digital assets is a big challenge for the market.
