Bubbletone Showcases its Technological Solution for Telecom at GSR-18

Bubbletone took part in the 18th Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR) that was held in Geneva, Switzerland, on July 9–12.

Organised by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the Global Symposium for Regulators is a prominent event for the world of telecom that is aimed at facilitating the exchange of experience between regulators and respectively between them and the representatives of electronic communications industry leaders worldwide.

The event brought together more than 600 participants from all over the globe: heads of national telecom/ICT regulatory authorities, representatives of international organizations, electronic communications operators, network providers and electronic communications equipment manufacturers, academics, etc.

Among the participants were the industry decision-makers such as ITU, Federal Communications Commission (FCC; United States), Samena Telecommunications Council, African Telecommunications Union (ATU), International Telecommunications Users Group (INTUG), SWISSCOM, Microsoft, Huawei Technologies, Facebook, IBM Watson Group, Leonardo Company, and many others.

Bubbletone was the only blockchain-based project, whose CBDO had been invited to participate in a panel discussion on digital transformation in telecom.

As a panelist at the “Industry Leaders as Drivers of Leading Emerging Technologies” session, Bubbletone’s CBDO Oleg Pravdin delivered a speech on prospects and benefits of blockchain technology implementation in telecom and showcased the Bubbletone project to the key industry players. His speech aroused intense interest and was followed by a number of questions.

Oleg also explored opportunities for future collaboration with the participants.
