The dark calls for you,

Fear is here, it spells doom.

Ghosts from your past

Will be here as long as you last.

Come to the other side,

Death beckons to you in pride.

You shut your eyes and wear your last smile,

If you go down, it would be with a smile.

You spare a thought for your wife

And the light that sparks in her eyes when she calls you her life.

You sit in a corner and cry,

Today will not be the day you put the light out of her life.

Today will not be the day you die.
