Introducing Buckets 2.1.0 For iOS

Our new iOS updates are designed to ensure that you don’t sacrifice usability for mobility when accessing Buckets via your mobile device. Buckets 2.1.0 supports the new iOS 11 and iPhone X and it’s performing better than ever.

We’ve added new features to help improve your collaboration efforts and, after receiving some great feedback from our Buckets Community, we’ve optimized some of our existing features to really differentiate us in the app market. This is an exciting time for us and we can’t wait to share these improvements with you.

So let’s get started!

Brand New UI/UX

We’ve been listening to our users and have been working to raise the standards at Buckets to make it even easier to use, find, and share your content with everyone. We’ve reduced the amount of vibrant color in your Projects to add emphasis on pertinent details and alerts. The new monochromatic columns are designed to compliment this minimal look, and the inclusion of strokes and outlines for color contrast are especially useful for lower resolution screens.

We’ve also updated the Notifications Shelf for improved clarity and ease of use. The addition of inline replies will help keep your conversations going on the fly without having to jump to the card and break your concentration, while clicking the lock icon will help secure important notifications you want to come back to later on.

Take Control Of Your Notifications Using The New Settings Panel

Our new Notifications Settings give you even more control over the Notifications you receive to your mobile. Push Notifications allow you to control the alerts that pop up on your mobile device, and you can also customize your Email Notifications to limit the updates hitting your inbox. To view and adjust these Settings, go to Account > Settings > Notifications.

The Notifications Filter makes it easier for you to find the information you need in your daily updates by performing a quick search in seconds. Click on the ellipsis in the Notifications toolbar to view the Filter and use the text field to search by username or keyword. Once you’ve set up some Custom Notifications, you can also use the Filter to search by color.

Use The Sandbox Relay Email To Create Notes On The Go

Sandbox Relay is the latest update to one of our favorite features: the Buckets Sandbox. This additional feature allows you to forward items directly to your Sandbox in Buckets. Use this feature as a companion while you’re clearing out your inbox so ensure you have the details that you need in Buckets when you’re ready.

To access Sandbox Relay, go to Settings > Sandbox and create a custom email address. Once you’ve set up your Sandbox Email Relay, you can forward items straight to your Sandbox from your email!

Share Your Thoughts With The New Doodle Tool

You’ll find the Doodle tool in your Buckets Sandbox toolkit. You can use the Doodle to create your own doodles or annotate/edit existing images. This is really useful for adding text over images or highlighting areas. You can export your Buckets Doodles by drag-dropping them into the Project/Card of your choosing.

Connect To Buckets With Your Facebook Or Google Account

You can now log-in to Buckets even faster using Facebook or Google. If you’ve yet to sign up, quickly connect to Buckets using either of these accounts.
