Use Our New Sorting Options To Complete Your To-Do List In Record Time

When you’re faced with a massive to-do list, you have two options: procrastination or elimination.

The latest Buckets updates are designed to help you to eliminate your tasks at record speed so that procrastination becomes a thing of the past (well, except for “positive procrastination” which you can read more about in our previous blog post). As daily users of Buckets, we’re always working to make the system run more smoothly. Most recently, we’ve been developing a way to sort through Cards faster when we need to retrieve info.

This is something that becomes especially important when you’ve been using Buckets for a while and have multiple Projects running at once. No-one wants to sift through reams of info to find the content they need, especially when you’re on the go.

This is why we added an additional sorting functionality to: My Cards, Shared Cards, and Search.

You can use the sorting menu to alphabetize your updates (like your books and records, if you’re one of those people!), search your latest Card updates in order of newest/oldest, or search by Card creation date.

Our New Sorting Options

My Cards

You now have a number of search options when retrieving a Card that you’re a member of. To use this functionality, go to your Account menu, click on My Cards, and then use the sorting icon to view your sorting menu.

Shared Cards

The Shared Cards feature in Buckets allows you to view any Cards you’re working on with another member by clicking on their username. This a super handy way to get an instant snapshot of your shared tasks. Once you’re in the Shared Cards view, you can use the sorting icon to bring up the menu and find the info you need straightaway.

Search

You can use the search field at the top of your Buckets screen to search all Cards and Projects using keywords. But now it’s even easier to find what you’re looking for. Just type in your search request, click “see more” under your search results, and then click on the sorting icon to view the sorting menu again.
