You’ll Relate to Buddoop’s Story

At the beginning of our university journey, when our schedules were busier and our pockets emptier, we found it challenging to connect with new people or to make plans with friends we already had.

Either it was because we shared different interests from that of our classmates or because we were really busy when our friends were free and vice-versa. Finding the right time slot was an extreme sport.

We noticed that this was not a challenge only in our lives but in those of our friends too! They would say things like “if only there was an app to create/join events whenever you want” or “someone should create a Tinder for friends”.

To our surprise, we found that there was not only one app with this end but PLENTY of them!

So, we decided to have a look at some of these, did some research and check the reviews. We noticed that some people didn’t join any of these apps because of the swiping mindset. Your photogenic and editing skills are the factors that state how good of a friend you’ll be…

So… after two years of struggle, we founded Buddoop!

We wanted to create social app that would focus on people’s interests instead of pictures to create new friendships.

Here’s how it works:

1. Chose a date, time and location for your event
2. Type what you would like to do
3. Choose the categories in which your event falls into
4. Post it and wait for others to join!

Buddoop has just started to give its first steps in London and we would like you to tell us what you think about it!

If you’re in London, here’s what you have to do to be one of the first to try this new app out:

• Go to Buddoop’s website
• Request an invite
• Type your e-mail

Then, you’ll get the chance to get a private link so you can create an account and try it out! All for free of course!
