No new idea can stand on its own. Concepts or innovations like BUFF must be supported by efforts in multiple fields at once. For BUFF, that meant tackling the intricacies of the law, finances, gaming and blockchain in the most professional manner possible. And that’s what the BUFF team of advisors is for.

Legal: Anthony Provasoli

BUFF is fully regulated in Gibraltar. So who better to join the BUFF team of advisors than Anthony Provasoli, Gibraltar’s leading crypto legal expert. Since being called to the Gibraltar Bar in 2005, Anthony has also specialized in corporate, commercial and financial services and been an adviser on sports law, intellectual property, e-commerce and telecommunications regulation.

Financial: Bruce hack, Michael Vorhaus

Any new venture trying to raise money to become financially viable could do with a couple of heavy-hitting advisors to guide them down the right path, and boy did BUFF attract some heavy hitters.

One is Bruce Hack, chairman of the board at technicolor and an advisor for start-up and mid-stage online media and entertainment companies. Bruce is also in deep in the gaming industry having served as vice chairman of the board of directors and chief corporate officer of Activision Blizzard and CEO of Vivendi Games.

Michael Vorhaus worked for the Carter and Clinton administrations in Washington but now does consulting and research for new media and digital entertainment including gaming on all platforms. On top of these two experts, BUFF is also working with global financial leader EY, formerly known as Ernst & Young.

Gaming: Rob Dyer, Jeff Hilbert, Gina Ramirez

Of course, no topic could be more important to BUFF than gaming. Rob Dyer is nothing less than a renowned senior executive in the video gaming market who has personally made significant contributions to the growth of the industry, having worked with Zynga, Sony and Disney on multi-million-dollar deals for games like Assassin’s Creed, Bioshock and Tomb Raider.

Rob is joined by Gina Ramirez who worked as director of talent for Activision on games like Call of Duty and Jeff Hilbert, the CEO of Starting Point Games and the founder of First Strike Games. Do most of these names and titles sound familiar? That’s because they’re some of the most successful in the gaming industry!

Blockchain: Brandon Xavier, Brad Yasar, Tal Cohen

Finally, blockchain is what holds BUFF together. While the core BUFF team can also boast some blockchain and crypto experts, advisors in this realm help clear away cobwebs and stay ahead of developments in a rapidly changing industry.

Computer scientist and entrepreneur Brandon Xavier has spent 20 years in IT and dived into cryptography and decentralized systems in 2014. Brad Yasar is the co-founder and managing partner of Krowd Mentor, a strategic crowdfunding advisory firm focusing on ICOs, cryptocurrencies, blockchain and token-powered organizations. Tal Cohen rounds off the BUFF’s group of blockchain advisors as CEO at Compass Blockchain Solutions, a blockchain consulting firm.
