Happy new year to all of you! Having you with us on this journey warms our hearts.
Let’s jump right in with a quick product update and give you a snapshot of what we’ve accomplished recently and what are our plans for the next few weeks.
We released a new version this week, including a massive architecture update. Most users won’t even notice it actually, but it gives us a stronger and improved infrastructure that will allow us to grow our product much faster from now on.
We collected many comments from our MVP users during the past few weeks, and we made some major changes to the user experience, starting with the user registration process, login process and so on. On top of that, we gave the application a cool new design facelift. The main objective is just to make the usability smoother and easier. We have some more big plans coming up for the next round of UI updates, so stay tuned for more updates.
During this version, we did some ongoing maintenance and bug clean up.
Our next plans are focused on the core of the application. During the next few development sprints, we will work to complete the entire marketplace logic and design. This is a key factor for our vision: to allow BUFF gamers to exchange their hard-earned BUFF coins into other goods. The first version will allow BUFF users to exchange BUFF into virtual goods/credit in the games we support. Our plan, later on, is to add many more redemption opportunities.
Before we will be able to activate the market place as a live version, we will need to complete the work on BUFF “brain” the smart analytics AI engine that is responsible for the smart, fair and secure allocation of BUFF coins based on the user game play — this is one of the key components of our core application. In parallel, we are working hard on the fraud detection tools that will allow us to have a clean environment and remove bad actors and any fraudulent activity that will harm the BUFF community.
