As explained at the bottom this is a but in the Microsoft RDP client it seems.
I was literally just connected to this machine using XRDP and then of course I’m on the phone with a client and need to connect quickly and I can’t.
Seriously? I’ve been connecting to this host all day. What is going on??
I’ve got so many blog post surrounding errors on this topic and on different occasions, different things resolve the problem.
In some cases, I changed permissions. Restarted. Looked in /var/log/xrdp.log.
All kinds of different hijinx none of which worked.
