I am pleased to announce that Buildbot 0.9.9 has been released.
This month has been quite busy with a lot of new contributors. The IRC channel especially was very active. Speaking for myself, I received a friendly welcome from the maintainers, who even asked me if I’d want to write the blog post for the 0.9.9 release!
The long awaited port of the eight dashboard is now available for Buildbot nine. You can see it working on our internal CI instance.
This dashboard is similar to the console view, but is more suitable when there are a bigger list of builders, as it displays them horizontally instead of vertically. It can be tuned to your liking in the settings page.
I have mostly a python background and this was my first experience with AngularJS and Coffescript code. I can testify that all went much smoother than I expected. Mostly thanks to Pierre’s awesome blog post on how to write a Buildbot nine UI plugin.
Github Clones Integrations
This month also, a lot of work have been done for better integrations of the Github clones. Improvements have been made to GitHub, GitLab and BitBucket Saas and onPremise support.
Full details of changes can be found in the release notes.
Thanks to all contributors! Keep ’em coming!
