💌 A Big Warm Hug and Lots of Love

We wish our BTF family a happy new year and hope 2023 brings prosperity and joy to everyone and their families. As the new year begins, it’s appropriate that we recognize the efforts and contributions all of you make to helping the needy in Türkiye.

We ended 2022 very successfully with a number of campaigns that resonated with you, our donors, over the course of the year including Back2School, Giving Tuesday, and a year-end fundraising effort. Your support greatly impacted the lives of underserved rural school kids and college students.

The beginning of the academic year kicked off our year-end fundraising. Through your contributions BTF was able to provide much-needed supplies and resources to the rural students and fund scholarships for college students who are by-and-large the first in their families to pursue higher education.

Thank you for caring that every child should have the tools to be successful — in school and in life — and for taking action to ensure such. Special thanks to our campaign captains who recognized the needs of teachers. They made it possible for donors who support equal educational opportunity to become aware of the difficult conditions under which Turkish teachers function. Nine-hundred and thirty-nine primary school students in 16 schools all over the country benefitted.

We send you lots of love and a big warm hug for all your efforts and for the significant impact you have made. Thanks to your willingness to support teachers and university students in need, we ended the 2022 Fall Semester funding some 1600 scholarships and sending educational kits to 30,583 school kids.
