BTF Art4aCause — Art@Turkfest
The Great Artists of Seattle Turkish-American Community are coming together at Art@Turkfest to provide scholarships for needy students in Turkiye through Bridge to Turkiye Fund. This weekend we will get the taste of Art at the Exhibit Room while enabling many more students to continue with their education to make the world a better place. A silent auction will be held so that whoever bids the most will go home with their favorite piece from the unique art collection.

All proceeds of this auction will go to BridgetoTurkiyeFund’s EmpowermentScholarships Program in partnership with “Cagdas Yasami Destekleme Dernegi” in Turkiye.
Bridge to Turkiye Fund, UN Accredited Non-Profit organization, has provided 1175 students with scholarships so far through Empowerment Scholarship Program which enabled them to continue with their education by removing the obstacles on their way due to social-economical disadvantages and gender bias.
This year BTF will be providing scholarships for 350 more student!
Bridge to Turkiye Fund has partnership with CYDD, TEV, Nesin Vakfi and send the scholarship to students who applied to these local NPOs in Turkey and got approved. The successful students who are in need of financial support have the priority to got approved.
There are also 15 students from Bolluca Children’s Village who started collage this year and are granted with a year long scholarship already!
These students have been supported by Bridge to Turkiye Fund since their childhood since they don’t have family and needs care.
While we can’t fulfill all the education gap, we can grow every year by improving our reach, increasing our united voice for action to further invest in this cause.
Inspired by the demonstrated belief of “when you educate a girl, you educate a community”, We believe the single best gift we can provide as privileged & educated people,
as a way of “paying back” is to pass our luck and offer “the gift of education” to those underprivileged children.
