From Virginia To Hani, Diyarbakir…
When you believe you can make a difference, magical things happen
9 year old Liva wanted to celebrate her birthday with her friends. She had a special birthday wish: to see everyone, including children who are less fortunate than her, to smile.
She wanted children in a remote village school to experience the joy of opening a gift package. She has set on to celebrate her birthday by giving back to children in need by donating her piggy bank savings and by asking her friends for donations to be able to send BTF EducationalToys4Kids to a remote village school.
Liva, with the help of her parents, went online to visit BTF’s Map4Good to check cost of 4Kids projects and to choose a school in need of help. After seeing the photos of the school building and reading the letter from the teacher she decided on reaching out to Gürbüz Elementary School kindergarten class in southeast Turkey in Hani, Diyarbakır.
