Get subscribers to your podcast directly from Medium or your Blog
We have a little Christmas present for you. Most of you who publish a podcast want better discovery. Ultimately, however, what matters is that those new listeners subscribe to your podcast with their app client of choice, we have updated our player to accomplish both goals.
Notice the big Subscribe button at the bottom of the player. This will open the default podcast playing app in your listener’s phone or computer.
With this new feature, our player becomes the perfect discovery tool for your podcast on Medium or your blog. Embedding on Medium is really really simple. Just paste the episode’s URL on the Medium editor and the embed appears automagically. You can try it yourself with this URL.
Embedding the player on your blog is almost as easy. You can get an embed code from the Share button at the bottom of the player.
Subscribing from your TapeWrite profile
Another option to gain subscribers is from your TapeWrite profile. We have added another call to action to subscribe to your RSS feed in your TapeWrite profile.
