Do you have some more specific suggestions for handling e2e testing with a database in CI?

Wrestling with the best approaches to having a DB available populated with data in the CI setting (dedicated test db that spins up with seed data vs a say a dedicated test user or tenant in the production db). Less worried about read operations than tests for create/ update/ delete.

Seems a bit more simple with a cloned throwaway local db on my machine than once it hits the cloud.

Any thoughts? Appreciate it!
