Choose Your Sticker

All Universe sites have what we call a “sticker” on them: a little badge that sits on the bottom of your page, linking to Universe on the App Store. Our product is free to use, so this is way for us to drive growth and get us to sustainability. Today, we’re unveiling two updates.

First, you can now choose from 6 awesome new stickers. These range from fun to elegant and open up another venue for self expression. Changing your sticker is just like editing a block: a palette comes up, you scroll, it changes.

Second, you can now remove the sticker entirely for $2.99/month. This is our second subscription after custom domains.

Instead of having monolithic subscription packages like “Pro” and “Gold” we’re experimenting with an a lá carte approach, where you pick the features you want and build your own monthly subscription. This way you only pay for the features you need.

We’re going to continue to roll out new subscriptions as we tinker with our business model and find a solution that can be sustainable for us and aligned with our customers.
