We’ll credit your account
After you pay your first bill, we’ll add a credit to your Bulb account with your referral reward. Just like that.

There are no fixed contracts with Bulb so you’re never tied down and you can leave anytime without being charged cancellation fees.
We refund cancellation fees
If you’re switching, we’ll tell your old provider and refund up to $100 if they charge you to leave.
No hidden fees
The rate you see includes delivery charges and our energy charges, but doesn’t include tax. No hidden fees. No smoke and mirrors.

How to start referring
If you’re a Bulb member, you can start referring right now. Here’s how.
- Share your referral link with friends
- If someone signs up to Bulb using your link, you’ll get a confirmation email so you know who joined. Your friend will also get an email which will have their brand new referral link.
- After your friend pays their first bill, you’ll both receive $50. You’ll receive this reward as an account credit. And yes, we’ll send you a celebratory confirmation email whenever this happens.
How to use social media to refer friends
You can always share your link by text or email, for example:
