AMA with The COO of Blockchain Monster Hunt

On October 26, BCMH will perform the first Blockchain Monster NFT sale on BullStarter. Recently, the BullPerks community has had a chance to ask all the questions about an upcoming INO deal during the AMA session with Cong Le, the Chief Operating Officer of BCMH. BullPerks Admin: Hey, everyone! Welcome to Blockchain Monster Hunt’s AMA with BullPerks. We are excited to introduce Cong Le, the Chief Operating Officer of Blockchain Monster Hunt. He is here with us today to answer all your questions. Without further ado, let’s get this show on the road!

Hi, Cong! Hope you’re having a great day. Can you please tell us a little bit about yourself and your team?

Cong Le: Hello, BullPerks community! I’m glad to be here and thanks for the opportunity to introduce our NFT game project to you, guys. I’m Cong Le, the COO of the project. My past background is in the game industry. I’ve been working as a Senior Product Manager at Garena — Sea Group (NYSE:SE) for 6 years. We have launched mobile games in South East Asia and Latin America.

Our team brings together 27 people working on this project. These are tech, business development, marketing, and visual art specialists. And we are expanding rapidly. Our co-founders are ex-Facebook and ex-Google software engineers with backgrounds in algorithms, data structure, and blockchain technology.

BullPerks Admin: Thank you for the answer. Can you introduce your NFT game project?

Cong Le: Sure! Blockchain Monster Hunt (BCMH) is a Pokemon-inspired, multichain monster hunting and trading game that runs entirely on the blockchain.

We want to bring a new thrilling experience where players can play the game on multiple chains. We believe in the decentralized world and we want to make our game really decentralized. In our game, everything is on-chain: the catch action, battle action, NFT rewards, and any other critical actions require users to interact with a smart contract.

BCMH introduces the novel concept of the blockchain timeline. Each particular block on the blockchain is mapped to one of the block types in the game timeline based on the block hash. The type of monster that appears is determined by this blockhash and game difficulty.

BCMH can incorporate a unique, fully on-chain game mechanism that automatically adjusts the difficulty of catching monsters based on supply and demand. It operates in a manner similar to bitcoin-mining rewards which become more difficult to get when more hashrate is added to the network.

BullPerks Admin: Thank you! Blockchain Monsters claims to be the world’s first NFT game live on multiple blockchains. What chains have you integrated? And what will it bring to the users?

Cong Le: Currently, we have integrated the ETH, BSC, and Polygon (MATIC) chains. More chains are in the pipeline to integrate, including Houbi (Heco), and Moonbeam. We are also developing our own chain for gaming. We want to enable users to play the game with others across different chains. Each chain will have monsters of different rarity depending on the gas fees. For example, ETH with high gas fees will have rarer monsters.

Since the transaction gas fees vary between chains, this cross-chain feature allows players of all financial backgrounds to participate relatively fairly. Cost-sensitive players can play on a low-fee chain while other players may choose to play on a more expensive chain such as Ethereum. We also put monsters of different elements and rarities on different chains. So, users have to move their monsters across different chains to play the game. It will make the game even more interesting.

We gamify staking and farming. In our battle logic, people can use our BCMC token to increase the chances of catching monsters. Holding more tokens gives players access to fight rarer/more powerful monsters which also means higher rewards. Users can also pay insurance to prevent permanent loss (burn) of monsters when participating in the battles. When the power difference between 2 monsters is high you may lose your monster permanently. Other several advantages are staking, earning status, and participation in governance.

BullPerks Admin: Could you tell us about the roadmap of Blockchain Monster Hunt and its long-term vision?

Cong Le: Following the IDO last week, we will be conducting an Initial NFT Offering from October 25 to November 10. During the INO, we will release exclusive Genesis Monster NFTs. One of the platforms is BullPerks :)

At the same time, we are launching Open Beta early next month and the Mainnet version late next month. In the first version, players can interact with the blockchain timeline to catch and battle against monsters. Native marketplaces are deployed on Ethereum, Polygon, and BSC. We also provide the in-house portal for players to move NFTs and BCMHs across those chains. We will then have flash loans, achievements, and quests in V2. Metaverse is our main focus in V3 and V4.

Our long-term vision is to develop a generic cross-chain marketplace. We expect to be the “open-sea” of cross-chain games, supporting not just our games but also other gaming projects sending NFTs and tokens across chains.

BullPerks Admin: Can you elaborate more about the Initial NFT Offering (INO) that you are running on BullPerks?

Cong Le: Sure, this is one of the biggest INOs during which we are collaborating with 8 launchpads to sell exclusive Genesis Monsters. Each launchpad is allocated monsters of one element. And BullPerks is one of the launchpads helping us to sell Earth-type Monsters.

Genesis Monster NFTs are pre-mined NFTs. They will give our early supporters a headstart when the game launches as they have an exclusive staking pool and also be required later for breeding artificial types of monsters.

As part of the INO campaign, we are also giving away $50,000 worth of these monsters through a series of community events.

Eran Elhanani: So what is special about the Earth monster? Is it limited or will there be more?

Cong Le — [In reply to Eran Elhanani]: There are 10 elements in BCMH. Each monster is strong and weak compared to some other elements at the same time. Earth is strong compared to Electric monsters and will increase your chances of catching Electric monsters.
