Zerion is an all-in-one gateway to the world of DeFi. The user-friendly interface lets you buy and sell assets, view transaction history, track your portfolio returns, and discover trending tokens, all from one place.
How does Zerion improve the DeFi space?
Zerion is the easiest way to build and manage your entire DeFi portfolio from one place. All throughout 2020, we have shipped out several features to inch us closer to our goal of making our product the easiest way to access all of DeFi.
Some key milestones:
In April, we launched DeFi SDK, an open-source library of smart contracts that makes it easier for developers to integrate protocols to their dapps
In July, we released our Explore, Market and individual asset pages, offering our users a much-needed overview of the entire market from the same place they track their portfolio
We also completely revamped our mobile interface, making Zerion the most comprehensive DeFi app on your IOS and Android device.
Finally, in the 2nd week of September, we integrated with Uniswap Protocol, which means Zerion users can now trade just about every DeFi token directly from our interface.
Enclosing Uniswap’s exchange layer into our interface is just the beginning. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be integrating with a number of major DeFi aggregators and rolling out support for liquidity pools.

What was the motive behind creating Zerion
The initial idea came to our mind during the ICO craze 2017–2018. We realized there was still no automatic solution for easily tracking all ERC-20 tokens.
We wanted to provide our clients with a non-custodial tool where they wouldn’t have to manually input their assets. Combined with the growing interest in decentralized finance, we saw a huge opportunity.
Zerion’s pivot was also driven by personal experience. Our team took a good look at the crypto space and concluded that most cryptocurrencies were either useless or not ready for adoption.
Using centralized exchanges started to feel a lot like traditional finance. Things were messy and unnecessarily complicated. DeFi promised to solve a lot of these issues, but we were yet to see any use-case for fully managing one’s finances at the smart-contract level. So, we decided to build one ourselves.
Who do you recommend the Zerion Platform to?
The main difficulty we experienced in onboarding new users was the huge gap between people who understand and use DeFi and those who are completely new to space. We’re hoping we can change that with our simple, easy interface.
Hence, Zerion is essential for anyone looking to discover the world of Decentralized Finance. We’ve now built the easiest way to build and manage your entire DeFi portfolio from one place.

What are some benefits Zerion has over other competitors?
We are the only DeFi application that provides you not just the current state of your portfolio but also the historical performance, on three dominant platforms (web, iOS, Android). We don’t have user accounts and instead work directly with Web3 wallets like MetaMask. This means we don’t own your private keys and cannot ever access your funds. We’ll also never share your data with third parties.

Following our Uniswap integration, plans to add a number of major DeFi aggregators, and roadmap for directly providing liquidity to liquidity pools directly from Zerion, we will be the simplest interface for any level of DeFi investor to access all DeFi assets.
