Amidst the chaos and uncertainty of a global pandemic, BTS has provided a force to be reckoned with. Dynamite, packed with pure euphoric fun and celebration, has burst onto the scene, breaking records in its wake.

Pastels, 70s vibes and the catchiest tune of the decade by far, Dynamite has given us perhaps something we didn’t quite expect, despite descriptions from the group being accurate to a T. Yet the quality doesn’t just come from the element of surprise, rather, Dynamite is such a unique video for it is giving us what we desperately need right now; fun.

Dynamite is light and breezy, uplifting and enchanting. With visuals that excite and a dance we feel we might just be able to recreate, this music video has become the beacon of hope for all — and it was only released two hours ago. Though some may feel this is a far cry from the ‘hard’, more experimental, concept of tracks like ON and Black Swan from Map of the Soul: 7, I believe Dynamite stays true to BTS’ message, mission and purpose.
