Current captain of Indian cricket team in all formats, Virat Kohli is one of the youngest cricketers to have managed to make and break a number of records.
From an impulsive player to establishing himself as one of the best batsmen of this generation at least, Kohli has come a long way. Yet, he may never be able to break these records.
1. Kohli has often been compared with Tendulkar for his appetite for runs, but breaking the record of Tendulkar’s 18426 runs in the 50-over format might be tough even for him
2. After struggling initially, Kohli has finally found his footing even in the test match format, but beating Lara’s 400 in a single inning of a test match might not be his cup of tea

3. As I mentioned earlier, Kohli is indeed one of the best batsmen of this generation, but beating his teammate Rohit Sharma’s score of 264 runs in an ODI innings is something even he might not achieve
4. Indian cricket will forever compare Sachin and Virat, but Virat Kohli probably cannot beat the 15921 runs margin in test cricket scored by Sachin Tendulkar
5. While the schedules of matches were quite flexible earlier, that is not the case now. Which is precisely why Kohli may never play more than 200 test matches in his lifetime
