Even though cricket has been the game of ultimate perfection; we see some unpardonable mistakes from time to time. Today we are going to talk about 5 such mistakes that can be often seen in cricket games, both on a national and international level.
1. Not calling for a catch
Not calling for a catch is considered a cardinal sin in the game of cricket. This has to be done, to avoid confusion as to which fielder is taking the catch.
2. Not backing up the overthrow
A fielder has to move towards the wicket to control the ball being thrown. Even with a lot of practice, fielders often miss this important step, and that causes the other team to get an extra run.
3. Keeping the bat in the air
A batsman is considered out if neither his body nor his bat is in the crease ground when the wicket is hit, and yet, we have seen it happen many times before.
4. Spinner bowling a no-ball
It’s least expected from a spinner to throw a no-ball because they have a short run-up, but we still see it happening.
5. Umpires making wrong decisions
Although there are three empires in cricket, we still see unfair decisions sometimes, and it hurts the fans too.
These mistakes might appear to be small, but often end up costing the team their victory.
