Justice League, the league of DC superheroes who came together to fight crimes has been a huge part of our childhood. But very few know that this is not the only superhero team that DC has.
There is also another team of DC heroes who deal with all sorts of magical and supernatural disasters. They are known as Justice League Dark, and here is everything you need to know about them.
1. Justice League Dark was not created as a standalone team, rather they first appeared in the pages of a Swamp Thing comic
2. John Constantine, the trenchcoat wearing magician and occult detective, is the unanimous leader of the Justice League Dark
3. There are at least two origin stories of this team. In the current continuity, Madame Xanadu created JLD, but during their first appearance, it was John Constantine who founded the team
4. The three core members that were involved from the beginning in the team are Constantine, Zatanna and Deadman

5. Steve Trevor offered John Constantine and his team a place with ARGUS and they were termed as the Justice League Dark
6. The monster created by Dr. Victor Frankenstein appears in the comics as part of the JLD

8. A Justice League Dark animated film of feature length was released earlier this year
