Just like the big screen has it’s own Avengers, the small screen also has it’s own collaboration of Marvel superheroes. With Marvel’s Defenders, a team consisting of Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Daredevil, and Luke Cage, all set to come on Netflix, fans are quite excited. And if you find their excitement overrated, here, let us give you some reasons to share that excitement.
1. The story is set in the same universe as the Avengers, so may be, if we are lucky, there could be a crossover
2. All the heroes of the Defenders are highly complex characters, with intricate backstories, so the depth of psychological drama of the series would be awesome
3. The heroes and villains of the Defenders are are all steeped in black and white characteristics, and that would make their interactions extremely intense
4. All the other characters, such as Claire Temple, Elektra or Davos are coming back in the Defenders
5. It will be great to see how the Defenders handle themselves in a group, especially since most of them are lone wolves
What is saddening is that this will be a miniseries. Come on, we can watch 100 episodes of this!
