All-Star Lineup Planned for Trump’s Impeachment Ball
Lady Gaga, Leonardo DiCaprio and the cast of “Hamilton” will headline Donald Trump’s A-list impeachment party now planned for March 20. Unlike his inaugural festivities, this event seems to have little trouble convincing Hollywood royalty to appear.
“It’s truly an honor,” said Beyonce, who along with husband Jay Z, will sing the national anthem. “Hard to believe it took this long, but we’re so looking forward to watching him fly away in that little green helicopter.”
Even Bill Clinton, the last U.S. president to face impeachment charges, failed to attract the megawatt collection of superstars already committed to this party. “Hillary and I can’t wait,” Clinton said. “As you know, we’ve been planning for this day since November.”
Trump’s the first sitting president to leave office during his term since Richard Nixon, who resigned in 1974. Plans to build a wall around Manhattan’s Trump Tower are underway with son-in-law Jared Kushner leading the construction effort.
